eco [artist] alert: nick gentry & obsolete floppy disks as canvas.

meet: nick.gentry

a central saint martins graduate who creates [expressive] paintings out of old pieces of technology such as: floppy disks (remember, those?), VHS tapes, Polaroids, and of course, cassettes. Nick uses these out-of-date products as a strong statement of [wasteful] culture. The artist has a secret [healthy] obsession with the relationship between humans and technology.

his paintings are breath-taking and almost unreal to the eyes.
